In November of 1998, Speir & Associates opened its doors with a five-man crew. Located in a store front on Joycliff Road in Macon, our office allowed us all the growing room we thought we needed. However, after a few years and 20 or so employees later, it became apparent that the location could not sustain the growth we were continuing to experience. After several moves and renovations over the years, we are now located at 171 Spring Street in downtown Macon.
Working alongside of our employees, watching them mature, grow and take on more responsibilities within the company is a joy. In the case of some of our long-term employees, we have had the privilege of not only seeing them grow professionally, but personally. We have seen marriages, births of babies, and even grandbabies in some cases. While business growth and success are always the goal, we never want to lose touch with the human side of the equation—helping our employees grow and succeed as well.
